As a freelance artist, I have to deal with insecurity in finance and unpredictable work flows. To keep my atelier and pay for the living cost, I have to spend most of my working hours to work for other artists as production assistant. I then over work to accomplish my own art and this brings exhaustion to both physical and mental status. The basic income will bring me a freedom to choose, to say no to some tasks that is consuming my time and myself, instead choose to focus on what I really want to do. Things that are more worth, really interesting, and in long term will help me to sustain as an artist.
